The staff is very good. tariffs are reasonable. Breakfast is ok, limited. No fruit. It looks like a watermelon from yesterday, but it has no taste. But since the place is on the top floor, this view makes up for everything. You will have breakfast with the seagulls. There is a kebab restaurant under the hotel, the prices are expensive but the quality is good. The room is very comfortable and cool. Just a little far from the Metro, and right next to the mosque. So there is a lot of noise, it's prayer time. Close the windows at night, This problem is all over the country. It's like everyone has to pray. The only thing missing is the balcony. But downstairs there is a terrace, tea, coffee, everything. Internet is very good

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel November 2016, come home and realised my GOLD NECKLACE is missing! I have than called and e mailed the hotel manager in regards to this issue.. He replied with very careless respond he didn't had a clue what I was talking about; clearly there are lake of communication within the hotel staff and the management. I have e mailed him numerous time but never come to a conclusion in fact he hasn't responded to my last e mail. I would strictly not recommend people to go there..

We booked standard room for 4 nights including breakfast in this hotel. The first impression when we arrive was not very impresive because we notice that they are in some renovation proces and they dont work. We enter in the lobby and ask on the reception if the hotel is open and he told us that they are open for guests. As we were waiting we notice that the lobby was extremely cold and they dont have heating and we were affraid that we will be cold in the room. Also the receptionist were wearing jacket. We decide to give the hotel a chance and to check the room. We enter the room and we were happy to see that the room was clean and the heating was on. The room was small but good for 4 nights stay. We pay for 4 nights 2 people including buffet breakfast 350€ which I think was little overpriced but affordable. I made a list with my positiv i negative comments for this hotel. Positive: 1. Clean rooms 2. Everything what you need have in the bathroom (hairdrayer, soaps, shower gel, shampoo, shaving kit, toothpaste and brush, makeup coton, etc...) 3. Amazing restaurant on the roof whit great panoramic view of the Asian part of Istanbul 4. Hot water 24/7 5. A lot of power sockets in the room and in the bathroom 6. 32" full HD smart lcd smart tv with 1500 satelite channels ( most of them Arabic and Turk) and all the usb ports work for movies from your personal usb or hdd) 7. Fast wifi connection 8. Huge shower Negative: 1. Renovation of the hotels lobby 2. No heating in the lobby 3. Only one device can connect the wifi in the same time so I was forced to connect to wifi using the other rooms passwords 4. No heating in the bathroom and if you are cold you must open the door so heat can entry in the bathroom 5. Very small clothing closet 6. Location on the hill side and without car hard to get to the center 7. 50 metars from big Mosque 8. 2 lights were not working in the room and in the bathroom 9. Very small double bed for two people 10. The minibar was empty only 2 small bottles of water

The overall experience of our stay at the "Nice Royal Hotel" was great. We had a great time and the rooms are beautiful. The staff/Reception are extremely friendly and very helpful, but unfortunately very very few few speak or understand a little English. The food very blant and repetative. It is like hospital food. Overall, I would give it a 3 out of 5. Hope this review helps.
